Dear Families,
Following Eton’s King’s Scholars announcement last Friday afternoon, we are happy to release Metal Rocks’ final 2023 school and scholarship results.
Congratulations to BOTH of our students who sat the 2023 Eton King’s Scholarships examination and were successful in their election as King’s Scholars. We couldn’t be more pleased to have placed 2 out of the 14 scholars at Eton. We have always said that the process of scholarship preparation, 18 months to 2 years of prep for 11 exams, many at GCSE and A-Level standard, is in itself a tremendously worthwhile endeavour. In the end though, it is gratifying to actually come out on top of a strong field of competitors for perhaps the UK’s most famous scholarship.
As another emotional and demanding school entrance year ends, we are reminded why we are so grateful to have such wonderful, supportive parents who place great value in education working side-by-side with us to help their children reach their potential. Without them, we wouldn’t achieve the results that we do. Thank you!
In addition to the amazing results of our wonderful students, it has been hugely rewarding to see the emotional and intellectual growth in each of them (they are getting taller, too!) and we know that the preparation and hard work they’ve put in will redound to their benefit for the rest of their lives.
